Pit Lifters

A Pit lifter is a specialised tool  used to lift and remove the covers of underground electrical pits, or telstra pits. These pits contain electrical equipment, cables, and wiring that are crucial for the distribution within a particular area.

Pit lifters come with various sizes and shapes. They could have handles, levers, or other mechanisms that allow a worker to exert force to lift the cover.

Pit cover removal refers to the process of taking off the covers or lids of underground utility pits, such as electrical, ortelecommunication (Telstra) access pits.  Removing pit covers is a necessary task for maintenance, inspections, repairs, and installations of equipment.
